  • Lis Bake Shop: (6 minute walk) 15 Holmes St. Decent coffee, great pastries, and breakfast sandwiches.

  • Sift Bake Shop: (14 minute walk) 5 Water St. French-style bakery. Owner/baker Adam Young won the Food Network’s Best Baker in America. They now have a rooftop deck with a full cocktail bar and dinner menu called Mix at Sift!

  • Rise: (15 minute walk) 10 Water St. “Breakfast and lunch elevated.” Brand new to Mystic with local, high-quality ingredients.

  • Kitchen Little: (7 minute drive) 36 Quarry Rd. Local & comfortable with a view. Awesome breakfasts. Popular among locals.

  • Karma Kitchen & Juicery: (6 minute walk) 15 Holmes St. Health food, vegetarian/vegan, and cold-pressed juices and smoothies.

Lunch/Dinner

  • Taquerio: (10 minute walk) 30 Broadway Ave. Great casual hangout spot! Fast casual taqueria in a converted old gas station. Margaritas, wide variety of tacos, etc

  • Sea View Snack Bar: (10 minute walk) 145 Greenmanville Ave. Great outdoor spot for groups! Counter-serve stand with river views, supplying seafood, burgers & other eats.

  • Sea Swirl: (15 minute walk) 30 Williams Ave. Great outdoor spot for groups! Counter-serve stand with famous fried clams, hotdogs, ice cream (and more!)

  • Engine Room: (6 minute walk) 14 Holmes St. "Beer, Burgers, and Bourbon.” Nearby spot for great drinks and munchies.

  • Dogwatch Mystic: (4 minute drive) 20 Stonington Rd. Relaxed restaurant offering BBQ fare, sandwiches & seafood along with outdoor seating & lawn games.

  • Mango’s Pizza: (4 minute drive) Olde Mistick Village, 27 Coogan Blvd. Thin crust pizza, sandwiches, and local sodas in a large space, great for kids and groups.

  • Shipwright's Daughter: (9 minute walk) 20 East Main St. The seasonal menu features local produce, meats, and seafood. Very popular, reservations are recommended.

  • Mystic Oysters: (6 minute walk) 15 Holmes St, behind Lis Bake Shop. Open 11:30 AM-6:30 PM. Lobster rolls, oysters, chowder, etc at this new hidden spot run by local oyster farmers.

  • Oyster Club: (15 minute walk) 13 Water St. Farm & Sea to Table, casual fine dining restaurant and raw bar. One of the 100 best U.S. restaurants. The upstairs deck offers more casual fare.

  • The Captain Daniel Packer Inne Restaurant & Pub: (18 minute walk) 32 Water St. Historic New England atmosphere, great burgers, fish & chips in the downstairs pub.

  • S&P Oyster Company: (8 minute walk) 1 Holmes St. Great seafood with the best views of the Mystic River and Drawbridge.

  • Bravo Bravo: (9 minute walk) 19 East Main St. Modern Italian and seafood.

  • Pizzetta: (14 minute walk) 7 Water St. Gourmet, California-style pizza with gluten-free and vegan options. 

  • Anthony J’s Bistro: (5 minute walk) 6 Holmes St. Rustic Italian bistro. Billy Joel once called it his favorite restaurant. Very small and they don’t take reservations

  • Chapter One: (9 minute walk) 32 W. Main St. American cuisine and seafood in a modern atmosphere. Great calamari. 

  • Via Emelia: (11 minute walk) 24 West Main St. Upscale Italian.

  • Red 36: (14 minute walk) 2 Washington St. Airy waterfront restaurant & bar serving American fare & seafood

  • Mystic Drawbridge Ice Cream: (10 minute walk) 2 West Main St. Great ice cream but also baked goods, coffee, and smoothies.

  • Mystic Sweets: (10 minute walk) 7 West Main St. Homemade chocolates and candy.

  • Mystic River Chocolate Cafe: (15 minute walk) 12 Water St. Organic craft chocolate, drinking chocolate, coffee, and sweets. Made in small batches from bean to bar.

Specialty

  • The Ditty Bag Market & Cafe: (14 minute walk) 7 Roosevelt Ave. Zero-waste lifestyle store. Gifts, bulk teas & foods, local dairy, and possibly the best latte in town. Free wi-fi and good company. Owned by former WM sailmaking instructor, Jason Hine.

  • Mystic Market East: (3 minute drive) 63 Williams Ave. Gourmet deli, grocery store, and bakery. A great place to pick up everything you need for a picnic.

  • Abbott's Outpost: (14 minute walk) 13 Water St. The famous Abbott’s lobster but open year-round. Try the hot lobster rolls.
